Hello,

I've one of the new MacBooks with a Geforce 9400M, but my BOINC says:

Message from server: Full-atom molecular dnamics is not available for your type of computer.

I already looked at the FAQs, there - and also at official nvidia page - is written that it should work.

But why it don't?

First of all - Sorry, but there`s no Mac application ( http://www.gpugrid.net/apps.php), and even if there would be one, I don't think your card with only 16 shaders could complete a task within the 4 day deadline... (See Overview of cards that run the GPUGRID app.).

This summer with Snow Leopard there should be a OpenCL capability on OS-X and if and when Nvidia releases a library for CUDA we could have that also. Expect neither anytime soon (sadly). From there the projects will still have to compile their applications for the new OS so that will add to the time ...
