Any ideas? Yes. Update the Windows BOINC application from your current Version 7.16.11 to Version 7.16.20, and then retry. More details at this Retvari Zoltan's post and around. | |

You will always get an outlandish expected completion on any task run with a brand new app. BOINC has no idea how long it will take until you complete and report 10 validated tasks with the new app. | |
