I'm crunching on my Vista machine since 12 hours - but BOINC tells me that it used only 4 hours.

Could someone explain why this happens?

Just look at the task manager! ;)
The GPUGRID task doesn't need that much of the CPU, therefore the CPU-time the BOINC manager shows is relatively needless...

If you have uploaded your first task, and have a look at it, you will see the ms/step it took. This is more important to see the performance.
