Hi:

I discovered today that my Geoforce GTX 1070 GPU is running at 50% efficiency. Is it possible to increase the efficiency and therefore shorten the completion time on the GPU GRID workunits?

Are you looking at System Monitor? Have you changed the window to CUDA? The default Windows setting shows just graphic utilization, not compute.

I'm sure your card is actually running at close to 98% utilization.

Hi Keith:

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I am using Task manager to view the performance of my Geforce 1070 VC. Thanks to you I learned something new today! I was using Google to figure out how to change the view to CUDA but with no success there. So finally I right clicked on the efficiency window and I saw the CUDA option and BINGO! MY video card is running at 98% efficiency.

Well this proves you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Now I do the same to my laptop. Thanks Keith!
