right now, in one of my Windows10 rigs with a GTX980ti I still use the driver 398.36 from about a year ago.

For unknown reason, the driver seems to suck now, and I may need to install another one.
On the NVIDIA homepage, version 430.86 dtd. 2019.05.27 is offered.
Does anyone have an idea as to whether this driver will work well with GPUGRID?
Or any other recommendations?

I upgraded to version 430.86 last week, and it's been working fine. On my windows 10 machine, it's running a little faster than 3xx.xx version, even though I am throttling it down to keep the temperature below 70C. See link.

http://www.gpugrid.net/results.php?hostid=263612

By the way, the machine has gtx 980ti in the 1st slot(connected to the monitor) and a rtx 2080ti 2 slots below that, not (2) rtx 2080ti's. I also experimented running 2 WUs simultaneously. The card usage is about 90% running 1 WU versus 85% for the 3xx.xx, and goes up to 95% usage running 2 WUs. I had only 1 error so far, it was shutdown error, unrelated to the new driver.

I did a clean installation, and click custom installation, installing only the new driver, not the other programs.

Now I also made a clean installation, only the driver, and it works well.
I can confirm that the new version seems to be a little faster, by about 3,7% from what I could see so far from a first comparison of task runtimes.
