Severe rain storm blew in and played havoc with the electrical grid. So 4 work units just went belly up. Should be resent out to some lucky person once BOINC reports them back to GPUGrid.

If you go to the device manager under "disk drives" you can right click your boot drive and click "properties." Click the "policies" tab and uncheck "Enable write caching on this device." I've never had a WU error out from a power outage since.
