Need to post a question to Toni about the likelihood of continuing to produce work for crunching and whether the project infrastructure is capable of handling the influx of new crunchers bailing from Seti@home.

That is a good question to ask. I'm sure it probably is. Remember a lot of people left here when all the work dried up. Not all of them came back.

I think they have a little time to prepare. I'll stay with SETI until there is nothing left to crunch.

I can't join the project. It just times out and says try again later. I have a 4 gpu host that has been a dedicated Seti host up until now. I wanted to get it moved over to GPUGrid.

Probably the servers getting slammed with new people. I see someone else who just joined is getting his computer connected and getting work.

Still no luck. It doesn't even try to connect to the project in the log.

I tried manually entering the URL and it didn't work either.

Got joined finally. I suspected the GPUGrid.net URL in the picklist was wrong. I tried manually to enter it once before and it failed.

This time I changed the http to https and then moved the cursor to the end of the URL and used the enter key to execute it instead of the Next button.

Downloading the apps and a work unit finally.
