I bought a Gigabyte GTX 750 for $80 on sale around Xmas. This card has been a great addition to my crunching computer. It has helped push me over the 500K per day mark and it only consumes 50 watts. Everyone should get one as their second card if they have the power and room in their computer.

Looking at the Stat graph you can see that a lot of 750s are running out there.
https://www.gpugrid.net/graphs/

So let's hear from you:

Which one do you have? 750 or 750ti? = GTX 750
Overclock or stock? = Stock
If you overclock, what are your settings? = GPU 1228Ghz, Mem is 5000
If you are overclocking, how do you measure for effectiveness? Task time?

Wow, 57 views of the post and no replies. Why don't the owners of the 750s want to tell me which model and at what speed? I am not the only one running this great card.

Oh well.

I have an ASUS GTX750Ti-OC-2GD5.
I've chosen this card because it has a 6-pin PCIe power connector.
You can see it near the top left corner of the card:

I didn't overclocked it more than the factory.
While processing a GERARD_FXCXCL12_LIG_177593-0-1-RND0844:
GPU Clock: 1202MHz
Memory clock: 1350MHz
GPU temp: 62°C
Fan speed: 54% (1900RPM)
Memory used: 554MB
GPU load: 84% (Windows 7 x64, so there is WDDM overhead)
Memory Controller Load: 22%
Bus Interface Load: 32%
Power Consumption: 74~80% TDP
VDDC: 1.1810V

I recently replaced the cards in my dedicated crunching rig with two EVGA 750Ti FTWs. These ARE great cards. Recently, I've been overclocking them a bit in order to get the GERARD_FXCXCL12 WUs completed in under 24 hours. Here is my current configuration:

Win7 64-bit
GPU Clock: 1411 MHz w/ OC (GPU0 +91, GPU1 +78)
Mem Clock: 2950 MHz w/ OC (+250 MHz on each)
GPU Temps: GPU0 52C, GPU1 48C
Fans: GPU0 55%, GPU1 49% (Default Curve)
GPU Load: ~84%
MCU Load: ~22%
Power: ~63%

I am very impressed with the reduction in power usage. I switched to an i7 and it saved me 75 watts. So I added the 750 and still save 25 watts. I can't wait to see what Pascal can do.

Same here. I thought about upgrading the 780Ti in my other computer to Maxwell, but I think I'm going to wait for Pascal.

I run 7 (PNY) GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card - 2GB, GDDR5, 5400 MHz
Great card; without needing any additional power.

I have an EVGA GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB that I run this project on.

Right now it's set at a 1350Mhz GPU clock & 1450Mhz memory clock. Hits 110% of TDP at ~95% load. No real reason for the overclock other than I like fiddling to see what the hardware will do.

I overclocked mine to 1355 GPU and 1445 mem. I am trying to get this WU done under 24 hours. Frankly I have a hard time figuring out if the overclock helps.

Also, my memory usage never goes above 550MG. Right now it is 346MG. Maybe 512 cores only needs 1 gig.

Can someone else tell me if theirs ever goes over a gig? Just wondering if I should replace this 750 with a 750 ti 2GB.

Thanks.

I have a handful of 750ti's and a couple of 750's.

They seem to be just the right price/ power use/ performance mix for me (the 750 ti especially).

The higher performance cards all seem a bit too power hungry and too expensive for my taste.

I'm anxiously awaiting the 950 to see how that fairs in perf/watt. (Owner of 650Ti and 750Ti)
