If I swap out my two Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB for two Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB, any thoughts on just how much more crunching will be accomplished? I want to remove my two 770's and place them into another system. I am wondering if the gain will be 30%, 40%, possibly less possibly more?

I want to remove my two 770's and place them into another system. I am wondering if the gain will be 30%, 40%, possibly less possibly more? The gain will be over 50%, but we don't know yet, as there's no working app for the GTX 980 & GTX 970. Any thoughts on whether my current Seasonic 1000w Platinum power supply will suffice for the two 980's? It will be sufficient for two GTX 980s

No working app? Could you elaborate. The BigMaxwells have Compute Capability 5.2, and the current v8.41 application doesn't support it. See the "Maxwell now" thread.
