Hello: New Nvidia driver for Linux recommended by the 337.25 seems to be solved quite a few things.

We will see that when you install it, and comment on the results.

Hi: Well,installed the new driver manually and it works perfectly for now Ubuntu 14.04 + Boinc.

They seem to have solved the problems of instability on the desktop and OC works well, we will see results..

NOTE: I have automated with a script to install the Nvidia drivers, since each change of library etc ... must be reinstalled, if interested I put in this thread. Greetings.

Currently running 331.38 but will try 337.25 and 340 drivers soon from X-org Edgar's repositories as I'll use them with bumblebee.
Have 337.25 and 340 been successful on your GPUgrid tasks?

Tried both 337.25 and 340 drivers but no help. Maybe its due to their being from Xorg Edgar's repo or my running them under Bumblebee. Should try them using prime next time.
