My BOINC then takes a timeout of 24h, don't know what's happening because just one minute earlier it got a GPU-WU.

I noticed that shortly before this BOINC gave me a message that the project was shut down for maintenance.

I have tried a change in the scheduler which I have now removed.
Please check. On which host id?

edit: and I noticed that on the webpage for my host it says I'm up to a daily quota of 8 WUs/CPU, but I still get the message

There are two limits:
1) 8/day
2) 1 per cpu

You must match both.

Wouldn't it make sense to have only the "per day" limit, as the number of CPU cores has nothing to do with the GPU(s)?
