I did downgrade my 570 drivers, should probably fix that. But even then its not 100 utilization under gpu z. Any thoughts? I get the same utilization from 460s

The performance of Vista and W7 is not as good as other Windows operating systems (XP-x86, XP-x64, W2003Servers, W2008Servers), for GPUGrid crunching. The last time this was looked at the performance difference was around 11% after optimization.

On 2003 R2 my GTX470 @ 656MHz is sitting at 99% GPU utilization running a Nathan_CB1 task (2threads free on an i7-2600). Earlier today utilization was at 88% when running a GIANNI_KKFREE task. On a 2008server I see 95/96% GPU utilization (Nathan_CB1, 2 threads free, SWAN_SYNC in use).

In the FAQ's you can see that there are other ways to optimize crunching for GPUGrid (freeing up a CPU core/thread, using SWAN_SYNC &/or Process Lasso, disabling AERO, reducing background processes...).
